DPS, Gwalior since its inception has been moving forward towards the path of achievement surmounting all the hurdles and obstacles. Every year it is adding a novel feather of success may it be infrastructure, academics, sports, co – curricular activities, music, dance, art & craft, Inter school, inter – class, intra class or inter house competitions. Since then the school has not looked back. Day after day, Month after Month& Year after year the school has just tasted the fruits of glory &victory.
Gradually and progressively the school has moved ahead with the establishment of its Primary Wing where the tiny tots learn to walk, the Junior Wing where the students are trained to grow and the Senior Wing endows the opportunity to the students to reach the Zenith of the success.
The process of the expansion with the introduction of advanced technology, starting of A.V. Lab, Computer , Robotics, Science , Maths, Language & Social Science Lab will not only develop the academics skill of the students but will also enhance the mental ability , scientific, literary and aesthetic skills. A small number of students have today reached to a large number. Hobbies, talents dramatics, debating quiz competitions, music, dance and craft, educational tours, camps, treks, and mid - term trips take education beyond the class rooms. Games and Athletics are an integral part of our school curriculum. Our campus provides a athletic field with a cricket pitch, 2 basketball courts, 1 volley ball court, a handball court, . We also offer facilities for riding, shooting and indoor games (chess, carom, table tennis).
Each year the institution has seen the students growing ,stretching their muscles, strengthening sinew, winning awards, participating and losing thus making the DPS fraternity proud and bringing home several laurels.
The journey of accomplishment and brilliance of DPS will budge on with a vision of regular distinction in academics, sports curricular, and co – curricular activities inducing the inner potency, sense of responsibility, consideration for others, respect for the rich Indian culture, tradition and every creed.
The flight of interminable advancement at DPS ensures the ethics of truth, honesty tolerance , respect so when a child leaves school, he/she is confident of taking an active part in the modern world with dignity and a flexibility to accept change as an opportunity rather than a threat; able indeed to be his / her own person and to lead a life which is purposeful, positive and constructive. |
