A school’s foundation are its children. DPS Gwalior publishes a news letter and news magazine ‘Rendezvous’ to tap into the immense reserve of talent of the Dipsites. Children are encouraged to participated in these editorial ventures whole heartedly. They are a part of the editorial board also.
The newsletter shows off the literary skills of the Dipsites – be it prose or verse. The annual magazine comprises of articles as well as poetry along with CCA reports. The competition results tabled in the magazine give the position of the four houses in the various Inter-House Competitions conducted during the session – to congratulate the winners and motivate the rest to compete better. The photographs give a glimpse into the Dipsites’ school routine be it activity oriented teaching, competition or outings. A sneak peak into the workshops conducted for and by the teachers expresses solidarity with the view that enhancing the abilities of the teachers is an investment into the making of excellent students.
Both the newsletter and the magazine chronicle the happenings in the school year albeit in a different format. |
