Dear Parents,

In the session 2011-12 the school is adopting following scheme of assessment for class XI. Students are going to be assessed on the following three parameters.

(A)       Attendance – [20% weight in final assessment]

            Every student has to achieve 80% attendance target on monthly basis. This will contribute 20% marks in final result.

(B)       Academic Performance – [60% weight in final assessment]

            In order to change system from exam oriented to knowledge oriented the school is adopting a system of 5 bimonthly exams to be conducted in the last week of July, September, November, January & March. The cumulative result of these exams will be reflected in the final result. Besides these exams there will be no other test or exam.

(C)       Applied Knowledge – [20% weight in final assessment]

            In order to develop practical exposure of subjects, practical, projects, activities, etc. will be conducted under this head depending upon the specific nature of subjects.

            (A + B + C = 100%)
