DPS Gwalior provides an opportunity to teachers to broaden their knowledge and go beyond their subject by conducting workshops. These are held in house and teachers are also send to attend the workshops held outside the school. They go a long way in instilling confidence and provide an outlet for talent and development of all round personality.
The school stresses on the importance of going forward in life by giving teachers the chance of strengthening varied professional qualifications by attending development workshops on 'Leadership Skills Development Programme' ' Aspects of learning difficulties for children and young people with disabilities', to name a few.
DPS Gwalior believes in educating teachers also because a well versed teacher can lay a strong foundation for a child's future. This is demonstrated by workshops held by the teachers on topic as diverse as 'Current Affairs', 'Use of Correct English', 'Neurological Disorders', 'Problems faced by Adolescents', and so on.
Eminent personalities are also invited to conduct workshops whereby teachers can inculcate a positive attitude and maintain a strong line on communication with colleagues and students. |
